License & Usage Rights

This License & Usage Rights Policy governs how digital products purchased from Invitation & Greeting (“we,” “our,” “us”) may be used. By purchasing or downloading any digital product from https://invitationandgreeting.com/, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Ownership & Copyright

All digital products sold on this website — including designs, templates, graphics, animations, videos, PDFs, and Canva files — are the intellectual property of Invitation & Greeting and are protected by copyright laws.

Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the design. You are purchasing a license to use the product, not the design itself.

2. License Types

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, each purchase includes one standard license.

A. Personal Use License

This license allows you to:

✔ Use the product for personal events (birthdays, weddings, parties, announcements, etc.)
✔ Edit the product for personal use (text, names, dates, photos)
✔ Share the final design digitally or in print for personal purposes

You may NOT:

❌ Resell, redistribute, or share the original files
❌ Claim the design as your own
❌ Upload files to any marketplace or template platform

B. Commercial Use License (If Included or Purchased Separately)

This license allows you to:

✔ Use the product for business or client projects
✔ Edit designs for marketing, promotions, or client use
✔ Use the final design for multiple client projects (unless otherwise stated)

You may NOT:

❌ Resell or redistribute the original files
❌ Offer the product as a template, freebie, or download
❌ Transfer or sublicense the files to others

3. Canva Editable Templates

For Canva-based products:

  • Canva access is provided via a share link

  • You must have a free or paid Canva account

  • Canva’s own terms of use also apply

You may customize the design but cannot resell or share the template link.

4. Customized / Personalized Designs

For custom-made products:

✔ You may use the final delivered design for its intended purpose
✔ Ownership of the original design remains with Invitation & Greeting
✔ We reserve the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed

Custom designs cannot be resold, redistributed, or claimed as original artwork.

5. Prohibited Uses

You are strictly prohibited from:

❌ Reselling digital files in any form
❌ Sharing files publicly or privately
❌ Uploading designs to stock sites or marketplaces
❌ Offering the designs as editable templates
❌ Claiming authorship or copyright

Violations may result in license termination and legal action.

6. License Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your license without refund if:

  • You violate any terms of this policy

  • You misuse or redistribute our products

  • Fraudulent activity is detected

Upon termination, you must stop using all licensed materials immediately.

7. Modifications

You may modify the product only for its permitted use. Modified versions are still subject to this license and may not be redistributed.
